The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Developer/Salesforce Product Specialist to be a Subject Matter Expert in all things Salesforce and lead a system transformation across the business. The role will be working within a new Salesforce environment, and responsible for specific applications, community portals and mobile apps associated to functions such as Payroll, Finance and Workforce Management (Scheduling).
Reporting directly to the Group Head of IT, you will:
- Support the current functional applications housed in the organisation Salesforce environment.
- Assist the program team in the delivery phase of streams on an “as needed” basis which may require project support, testing and provide technical documentation, and/or change management.
- Interpret specifications, design and modify software applications.
- Write programme code to meet system requirements.
- Engage actively in a team environment and contribute to a positive culture, collaborating with teams across the group as required.
- Develop, foster, and maintain communication channels, support stakeholder management, customer engagement, and coordination of complex work across business and IT partners.
- Document and own the knowledge management for the functional applications housed on the organisation Salesforce environment.
- Map business processes with solution requirements
- Coach, mentor and encourage other stakeholders within the business unit/s and IT to broaden, develop and enhance their skills within the applications.
- Assist with ongoing enhancements as necessary within the applications housed in the organisation Salesforce environment.
This role requires a person who can build productive relationships and thrives on rolling up their sleeves to collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to achieve business goals.
You will also have the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, IT or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Lightning Web Component (LWC)
- Strong previous experience supporting a Salesforce environment.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a Salesforce Administrator role or Application Specialist role managing applications in a Salesforce environment.
- Strong previous experience in delivering business and technical analysis services across finance and payroll.
- Salesforce Certification (Salesforce Administrator) highly desirable
- Demonstrated high level skills in stakeholder management, developing trusted and enduring relationships with business clients, including superior consultation, facilitation, and collaboration.
- Experience performing Salesforce improvements using custom flows, objects, page layouts etc.
- Technical knowledge of contemporary business systems environments including web technologies, client/server technologies and database environments.
- Experience assisting with change and release management for a large organisation.
